Basildon Mind

Basildon Mind is an independent mental health charity covering Basildon, Billericay, Wickford, and the surrounding villages. After more than 50 years, Basildon Mind continues to help people in our local community to have better mental health and wellbeing.

Our services, which we fund ourselves, include Counselling for people from the age of 7, Supported Housing, and Wellbeing Activities such as Walk and Talk sessions and an allotment. In partnerships we provide services such as Positive Pathways helping adults in the community, and the Crisis Sanctuary Plus House that provides short-term respite in a 4-bed house rather than a hospital.
