Member in Focus events were formerly known as our Meet the Partnership networking events. This month we are holding this networking event at Guided Learning for Deep:Black, who are based in Brentwood. Come and meet businesses from all areas of Essex in a social environment, whilst enjoying some refreshments. These events are great for business owners to build connections, that lead to collaborations, another form of marketing your business in the Essex business arena.

deep:black is a social enterprise and works with creativity to support individual learning, reflection and growth in order to contribute towards personal transformation and social justice. deep:black has a long history with almost a decade’s worth of experience in working with CAMHS in Haringey, including developing a unique and award winning multi-disciplinary approach, through Time 2 Talk, which won the HSJ Award for Innovation in Mental Health in 2015.

Most participants in our sessions experience extreme challenge often because of a complex set of circumstances, usually not of their choosing. While we cannot profess to changing circumstances, we can support individuals by creatively exploring different perspectives to create small and significant shifts. We are committed to sharing best practice to support new trainees and other mental health professionals to work with creativity to engage communities.

We have a reputation for excellence and have been invited to share best practice through opportunities to publish academic papers, to submit a chapter for a book on innovative therapeutic practice, present our work at an international conference and have been invited to talk to the Department of Education about our work.
